I've been saving this one for her graduation week, and then it slipped right by me and I never shared. Some of you might have an eyebrow raised at me right now since I specifically talk about how I do. not. do. senior sessions. But this one is the exception.
This senior session was of my niece, Rebecca. When I met Rebecca she was in 8th grade, and I had been dating her Uncle for a whole whopping 4 months. After Daniel and I got engaged, Rebecca was the first human ever to call me "Aunt Danielle" and it felt like my heart swelled twice it size when I heard those words.
While in my mind she still looked like the little girl I met at Texas Roadhouse a few years ago, it was while I was shooting this session I realized what a gorgeous and smart adult, my sweet, full-of-love niece was growing into.
She starts at Murray in the fall, but I am so glad we were able to grab these portraits of her last summer in her home city of Charleston, SC.
Y'all it just took this one session, but I am ATE UP with sunrise beach sessions. I was already obsessed with Charleston, so combine the two and I was freaking out from happiness the entire morning. Can someone get married and hire me as the photographer? Beach and/or Charleston, I don't even care if it's one, the other or both! Talk about a dream!!
But back to Becca. Check these out...
