A wedding on the day of the Kentucky Derby AND Cinco De Mayo?! No way! Actually, yes way!!
I think I probably write that I am excited about each wedding, but John and Tara's I am in a totally different way! Tara has been a bridesmaid for another Two Arrows Bride, and John and Tara have been guests at countless other weddings I've photographed, all the way back to my first weddings ever!
To be able to serve them now as their wedding photographer, makes me my heart swell up in happiness! But enough about me, lets talk about them!
Last year it felt like fall was never going to happen, so I wasn't expecting to have much fall color to work with during John and Tara's fall engagement session, we lucked out and the trees around this pond were not only ready for fall, they were doing so perfectly!!
The day we did this session Daniel was having ACL reconstruction surgery. It had gone way longer than it was supposed to and my mother-in-law had to take over in the waiting room so I could head back to Owensboro for this session. Needless to say my mind was a little distracted, but these two were so understanding and easy to work with it, they made my end a breeze by being so natural with each other!
My favorite part of this session was the last location. We ended at Trinity's gym in Whitesville. Where these two had met years ago coaching basketball teams. Wait till you see those, so much personality in just a few photos!
